Our interests are in the areas of organic synthesis, reaction methods development, and chemical education. The central themes of our research include: design and synthesis of biologically active compounds, utilization of screening techniques to expedite reaction optimization and discovery, and development of environmentally conscientious routes. Our education interests are in the areas of learner-centered teaching, course-based undergraduate research, and mentored undergraduate research.
